AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF LOT

As it was also in the days of Lot!

Just before Jesus returns he said concerning the coming "sudden destruction" upon mankind and compared the social conditions of the very end times in which we live with the mindset of the "Sodomites" who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah. He said: Luke 17:28,29 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [I find it fascinating that the current president of America is a "builder" and his last name is TRUMP] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Things would appear on the surface as normal concerning the "eating, the drinking, the buying, and the selling. Farmers will continue to plow their fields, builders will build things will seem quite normal to the average individual as the final day approaches.

Jesus didn't go into the "sinful aspects" of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah i.e. their "sexual deviance and lust" because the Lord is gracious He did NOT even mention the social mindset of Sodom and Gomorrah. He only focused on the normality of basic human activities during the time just before the destruction of the cities of the plains.

QUESTION: What then was the "universal mindset" of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah? Let's let the word of God answer this question. When the angels from heaven stayed with Lot after Lot sought them to stay with him in place of staying in the streets. Lot thought he knew something these to sojourners didn't know. However the angels of God were very well aware of the conduct and activities of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, but Lot didn't know that at the time he begged them to stay in his home. Some will say that Lot didn't know these men were angels, but the record says different. NOTICE this phrase "your servant's house" Lot could not have said this had he NOT known they were different from just travelers. They the angels were strangers to him, therefore Lot knew these men were not just mere men traveling, and Lot himself would have been lying to them when he made the claim to be their "servant." Yes it was the custom of Lots time to be subserviant to all men. However Lot "he bowed himself with his face toward the ground" which means Lot was more than on his knees before these starngers. Lot was considered by God to be a righteous man, and he would never have bowed down as described to any man as it would be breaking the first commandment of God had these men just been considered by Lot to be "mere men."  Peter states 2Pe 2:7,8 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds. So Lot was a "just and righteous" man he would have never fallen on his knees and bowed down with his face to the ground had he NOT known these men were angels.

The record: Gen 19:1-9 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. [Lot knew they had came for a specific purpose, he just didn't know what that purpose was.] And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. [Then Lot knew} And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed [Surrounded] the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. And they said, Stand back! And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

Here was a town "mob" that wanted to "burn down" Lot's system and put into place their "own agenda" to sexually accost who they though were simple men traveling. Had they been aware of just how far those travelers came "all the way" from heaven" they may have had second thoughts about "knowing the men." Depraved minds have no morality for any man among us, they stated to Lot "now will we deal worse with thee, than with them" when they saw that Lot was not going to allow them access to the angels. Which was in a way a blessing to the homosexuals of Sodom. Had the angels stayed in the streets as they said to Lot "Nay; but we will abide in the street all night" had Lot merely after they said that to him went on his way and just went home without the angels, he would have been awakened by those same angels the following morning only to find man "dead bodies" in the streets of Sodom as those people the scripture say "the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people [meaning both male and female from all quarters of the city] from every quarter." It wasn't just men, but men and women alike as the scripture states "all the people from every quarter." Old and young alike, men and women alike ALL of them homosexual.

Had not the angels blinded them all, the men of Sodom would have attempted to sexually abuse the angels, and the women would have sexually abused Lot's wife and his two virgin daughters as well. "all the people from every quarter" came to Lot's house for one purpose alone. Lot, however, didn't have the knowledge the angels had so he only offered his two virgin daughters in an attempt to please both men and women who were "hell-bent" on having it their way. Does this sound familiar to you today? Does the current chaos in America want it their way? Does the LGTBQ+ want it their way? This is what Jesus meant when He said: Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot. He wasn't speaking of the sexual lust and desires of the men of Sodom and Gomorrah, but of their mindset, their sinful practices in having it their way.

It didn't matter to them  who it was or where they might have come from, just as Black Lives Matter and Antifa doesn't care who you are or where you come from, they like the men and women of Sodom and Gomorrah only want it their way. This is the reason Amerca today is in the shape it's in. When in 2014 unelected Supreme Court justices of which one is LGTBQ+ Elana Kagen elected to formulate the "Same-Sex" marriage law America entered into the "days of Lot." Congress made no such law, but Americans have been so dull of reality, that there was no outcry from the churches, oh no the churches because of "political correctness" have capitulated to the days of Lot. This has gone far too far now to be changed, yet Mike Pence with his fake religious beliefs will stand in front of the cameras as he has done (more than once) and attempt to quote 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

There's only one major problem with his analogy! Practicing homosexuals, corrupt politicians, and over-bearing law enforcement individuals, weenie churches with money-hungry "mega preachers" along with drunks sucking down the booze during a pandemic social "lockdown" are NOT God's people. God will NOT heal any land that doesn't obey His word and live what they obey out in their social, political and religious life. Deut 11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him. Then again in Deu 17:19 And it [God's Law] shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear [Reverance] the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them. These are the perquisites for God "healing the land" not some politician who claimes to be something he can't possibly be as Pence has stated that "he is a born again evangelical Catholic Christian" of which there's no such thing. Either one is a Protestant born again evangelical Christian or one is a Catholic as it's impossible to part of both.

It's these kinds of fake phony Christians who stay silent when Supreme Court justices make a law of "same-sex" marriage of which they have no legal right to do, who stay silent with no outcry among them that has brought America to its knees socially, politically, and religiously and now we are in because of this the "days of Lot." Both the president and the vice president don't have a clue about what it takes to be a part of God's people, they only think they know. This is because they are listening to those "millionaire" fake ministers on their "faith advisory board" who themselves don't have a clue about what it takes to please God. Is it any wonder then that America is in the final throws of her demise spiritually and all other ways? If I were either man I would distance myself from all the faith advisory board and dismantle it entirely. Then personally read the word of God for myself and let God lead me into what's right and wrong with America and follow the word of God.

BUT, it's already too late for that! If Mr. Pence's understanding of 2Ch 7:14 is just being a church member and proclaiming the "gospel" of Jesus Christ, he is making a fatal mistake in his analogy of the verse. God will not ever heal America as long as the "same-sex" law is allowed to stand, and even if they made abortion illegal in all fifty states, and struck down the same-sex marriage law, God is still not going to heal this land, it's already gone to far into the abyss. Each time I hear Mr. Pence speak of 2Ch 7:14 it makes my stomach cringe because of his spiritual ignorance. Both the president and the vice president are breaking the "third commandment" of God whenever they speak of 2Ch 7:14 or pose for photo ops holding the word of God. Using God for their political agendas is taking God's name i.e. His character in vain, and neither one of them is the wiser. You can talk a good talk, but if your walk is contrary to your talk, you may as well be talking to the wind, it has absolutely no weight nor meaning to spout off scripture if you're not living scripture.

Today NO church on Earth is living scripture but with a few exceptions. Those who believe God means what He has spoken. But this is to be expected in the mindset of the religious world who follows tradition above truth. The days of Lot have arrived! The current chaos with every evil thought and imagination of men were the conditions before the flood. That has been fulfilling in America today now since the removal of prayer from public schools in 1962. It's been continual since that time and the anti-religious snowball that started on the top of the mountain since that time has continually rolled downhill and is at the bottom in America today. Now the second part of Jesus' prophecy has been added to that spiritual decline in the "same-sex" marriage law. Both these conditions are manifest in America today. 1. Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The days of Noe! Mat 24:37-39 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Then added to this condition is the now current LGTBQ+ agenda, not to mention the infanticide taking place by a so-called "Planned Parenthood" oxymoron by morons who allow such to take place. If it was in truth "Planned Parenthood" they would not be murdering the children of the supposed parents. There's nothing planned about it, but the planning of (the murder) of innocent human beings before their God-ordained right to birth into this world. Add to this the "Days of Lot" and the summation is that Jesus is about to arrive back to this Earth and millions even billions are going to be caught in a snare of their own making. Is it any wonder then that God said through the prophet Isaiah: Isa 2:20,21 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Isaiah also said: Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. NO real understanding in today's Christian world who says one thing and does another.

No friends even if Mr. Trump is re-elected the best America has to look forward too is Jesus returning and putting a STOP to the sinfulness and wickedness of mankind. Even if Mr. Trump somehow by God's grace alone is allowed "four more years" it's NOT going to get any better in this country, I don't care what reforms the president may make in the coming four years to 2024. America is over and you may as well get that in your "corn-cob" pipe and smoke it. Man has gone too far for some 2Ch 7:14 to materialize, the churches have gone too far, the religious world at large has gone too far, and politics and politicians have gone into the pigsty to even hope for a "healing of the land." As Abraham spoke and quoted by Paul the Apostle all that's left is a "hope for" your and my eternal land: Heb 11:10 For he [Abraham] looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. TAKE NOTE HERE" Abraham did not look for Jerusalem as Jerusalem is today, but for the New Jerusalem.
