In Answer to Prayer!

I have studied the scripture now for more than 47 years. I have by God's grace preached in three states in two separate denominations and witnessed to the same truth in Antarctica to my friends who were there with me. From 19 years old to today at 66, I have struggled with just "what love is." Yet, I still didn't understand "love", love for God first and then my fellow man. Over the years I have many times prayed to God that He would reveal to me what real love was so that I might love Him back for loving me that is acceptable to Him. God has loved me from eternity past long before I ever was, God knew I would be. Before the rebellion in heaven, before the world was created, before anything ever came into being, before the angels were created even, God knew that I would eventually be. This very thought is the most mind-boggling to the mind of man.

I grew up in a loveless home, a home where my dad and mom had a baker's dozen of children with one stillborn brother, leaving twelve living children. Out of these twelve human beings NOT one of us understood real love and even today after so many years real love is absent in my family siblings. There was only one out of the twelve that understood what real love was, that was my brother John who passed away into eternity in 2012 a devout Christian from age 18 to the age he died at 76, married to a Baptist minister's daughter, and hated by his father-in-law because of his faith. He started out Baptist but left that denomination when he was enlightened by God to the real truth. Because of his choice of leaving the denomination of the Baptist his wife's father hated him. He "my brother John" didn't even know he died because he fell asleep in Jesus in his sleep. The last heavenly verbal word he may have had was the spoken word AMEN  to his nightly prayer and died in his sleep from a massive stroke. He didn't even know he died! That's how I want to go!

Imagine that pure hatred by a deceived Baptist minister who then before my brother's death, died himself lost because he entered the grave a "murderer" before God because of his hatred of my brother. He will be very surprised in the resurrection to discover his entire ministry was a lie. Many believe that human love is "love" and nothing is farther from the real truth. Love is NOT a choice as man makes choices! Love is not a choice, love is CHOICE itself. The God-given ability to choose right over wrong, good over evil, "the CHOICE" that is true, a real love that comes from those choices that are made towards God to obey God. A free ability as Adam and Eve had in the garden of Eden to believe God, to believe that God does and always means what He speaks. You cannot choose to love your parents, your spouse, your children, with real true love towards them unless you have first chosen to love God first through making the right single choice or adopt the mindset to love God first.

I think back and God has given me that ability to recall many events in my own life, decisions made by my parents, and my own wrong decisions made by myself over my life that when I recall them reveals to me the absolute absence of real love. None of my siblings except for John understood that real love is first a choice made to love God superior to every other thing in life. A personal decision made, a specific CHOICE made towards servanthood to God with the intent to die rather than break that "specific choice." Neither of my parents nor my other ten siblings has made that choice as of today in 2021. My eldest brother Bill didn't make that choice and died at 76 also of "gaseous gangrene", I was with him all night before he died the next morning, in his room every 15 minutes to check on him, and I can tell you I don't wish that form of death upon any man. He literally "rotted to death" while he was alive. I think back on times when I offered to baptize him, with another brother standing there also urging him to do so, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. He couldn't make that CHOICE!

My family was not the family God desired it to be. I can remember getting a beating with a belt, a siphon hose, anything my dad could lay his hands-on at the time, and one specific time in 1961 witnessed by dad doubling over a piece of "barbed wire" to beat another brother, and saw him the same year layout cold another different brother with a 2x2 square who then fell unconscious of the woodpile behind the stove out cold, he was only 9 going on 10 years old. Had not my mother intervened he would have beat him to death with that square. My dad was without doubt "demon-possessed" at the time. This condition within him lasted from that same time even to the time I left home at 17 years of age because my mother who was also possessed had asked me to "kill my dad" and I quote "Why don't you take that and put that old man out of his misery" the "that" she was speaking of was an old negative battery cable with the lead connector on the end that I had laid on a 2x4 overhead on the front screen porch.

When my brother the one my dad threatened with the barbed wire in 1961 came down on vacation for a visit from Michigan City Ind. I told him of the event and he then took me back to Indiana with him. Later on a few years later the same brother in whom my dad knocked out on the woodpile who is 2.5 years my elder put a 25 automatic pistol on the end of my nose and ordered me out of his house because I lectured him on the evil of him kicking his pregnant wife in the stomach because she was trying to hurry him off to work as he was already running late. I was staying with them because I too worked at the same place as my brother and we rode to work together as I didn't yet have a car. My brother who took me back to Indiana also was a twin as also am I. He had a twin brother where my twin is female. His twin brother is also demon-possessed and accosted my other brother's wife (Russell by name) the same year of 1961 when he cornered her between the wall and the refrigerator. This same woman my brother's wife is also a second cousin to the family.

Yep, my brother married my second cousin. Then there are the other siblings all of them having no idea of love as God intended. My second cousin (Delores) my brother Russell's wife's dad was also caught the same year of 1961 by one of my four sisters named Wanda having sex with a chicken in the chicken house. 1961 was a bad year for our family as was also 1957 when at the age of 3 years I was sexually molested by the same brother who cornered my cousin sister-in-law. He forced himself on me when I was only 3 years old hiding his sin from others with the toilet door. We didn't have an inside bathroom until 1971. The years 1958-59 are a blur to me along with 1960, 66, 69. From 1971 to date I have struggled myself to understand real love. I'm no angel and have never been, I have had my (own) sinful struggles with immorality, and reality.

I have tried to find God in my own life by seeking after Him on my own. I have determined that no one can find God in this manner. One cannot just determine that they are going to be Christian and pursue that goal based on what they think is doing the right thing. God said through Jeremiah said: Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find when ye shall search for me with all your heart. The action words here are "seek", "find", and "search." With what? The verse says "all your heart" which means "with all your mind." As the fleshly heart of itself is not capable of "seeking, searching, or finding. Jesus equated the heart and mind as synonymous with each other. Mar 7:21-23 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. It's with the mind we "seek, search, and find" but that process cannot take place within any man until that specific man/woman is called by God.

Does God call all mankind to salvation? YES! Absolutely! Will all mankind accept the call and be eventually saved? NO! Absolutely NOT! Those called by God must be acceptable to God. Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few chosen. We do NOT choose God, He chooses Us when He calls us if we by personal CHOICE choose Him. We make a personal "choice" to have Him as our "only" God. Nothing else can come between us and God by our own choice to NOT allow it ever every moment of every day as we walk before Him in obedience to His requirements. This means that if your church decides to have a let's say a rummage sale Sunday after church on the church grounds, that if you take part in that sale, even if it's setting up the tables, placing the items to sell, having a money apron around your waist to receive the proceeds. All in the name of God "you think" doesn't make your participation in that event or the event itself acceptable to God. On the contrary, God is NOT present in such an event, even if everyone there claims Christianity and all are praying for a good outcome of the sale.

You have placed something else between you and God i.e. the desired successful sale of items for a specific church goal, but it's not God's will even though you think it is. By your willing participation, both your minister and you along with everyone else involved have willfully broken the 4th Commandment of God's Law. But you don't see it like that and that is where the problem lies. You're seeing the event through your eyes, NOT seeing it as God sees it. Therefore, you have allowed by choice for something to come between you and God even though it may very well be a good cause such as feeding the homeless from the proceeds, but that doesn't make the event acceptable before God no matter how much good intention is involved.

When God calls you He calls you to holiness always under every circumstance. Anyone who is not holy in all things before (Him) are wasting their time trying to be a Christian. You cannot just choose to be a Christian, but you can choose to have God as your God, and then He will do the rest IN YOU! Your CHOICE for God and His ways (IS) loving God above all else under every circumstance. Is this even possible? Enoch was a sinful human being just like you and I, yet Enoch "walked with" God. Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he "was" not; for God took him. For Enoch, there was nothing in his life but God alone. No gathering with the crowds, no dancing, no gossip, no lust, no doubt, no talking even if it didn't bring glory to God's character. Enoch, like the yoked oxen who plows the ground, keeps its eyes looking straight ahead. Enoch kept his eyes and his mind focused upon God continually under every social contact and when he was alone. Enoch walked with God always, never allowing anything in his life that wasn't of God.

No Harley's biking for Jesus, no Cowboy churches, no riding clubs for Jesus, no Jesus bowling leagues, no dancing to the Lord as dancing goes today, no making Pizzas to feed the homeless or any such nonsense would Enoch ever consider, no matter how Christian it may have sounded. All such activities in which mankind identifies as being or bringing glory to God, if God is NOT in the events and by that I mean if the events are undertaken is not a "holy convocation" before God, then God is NOT in that event no matter how many preachers, church members, of conferences are involved in the event. Churches and Christians today do NOT know God! Just because you think of yourselves as Christian doesn't make it so friends. Look through God's eyes as you walk with Him and ask yourself if how you're walking is pleasing to Him. Don't say within yourself God knows me better than I know myself. As the statement involves "self" two times and where any self is, God is NOT! Enoch understood this and for Enoch, there was nothing but God and it pleased God to the degree that God took him off this sinful earth.

No ministry on earth no matter what famous name leads that ministry i.e. Samaritan's Purse the Franklin Grahams social organization. Even though it may do much good unless God is absolute in its activities by everyone involved, it's tainted with sin and unacceptable before God. For every worker who is a member of the Samaritan's Purse outreach, if they are not or do not have the same mindset as Enoch, then the entity is unacceptable before God no matter how much good they do. God is HOLY and sin cannot be in His presence in any form. The very presence of God consumes the sin by fire. This is why the two sons of Aaron who were "priests" before God were burned to death because of their disobedience. What most believers in God don't get is that God doesn't see Christianity, God sees servanthood. Christianity didn't exist in the Garden of Eden and neither Eve nor Adam were Christian, but obedient servants of God before the fall. God left them immediately when they disobeyed Him, and He will not be with the willful disobedient who does NOT walk with Him according to His word.

It's when Christians think and believe that they are acceptable to God that they make their biggest mistake. As long as you or I live in this life of flesh we cannot and are not capable of living among the holy beings of heaven, no matter how good you think you might be. I realize that many cannot understand this truth, yet it's the truth just the same. Both Jacob and the apostle Paul understood this clearly when they stated: JACOB Gen 47:9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage. PAUL Php 3:12-14 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Then Paul sums it up with this: 1Co 15:50-54 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. NOTE: It's the "high calling" of God! Unless God calls you which He did at the Cross, when He called all humanity, unless you accept that calling and repent, you are none of His.

To accept the "high calling of God" one must make a CHOICE, this is NOT choosing friend as you would choose to have a pizza tonight for dinner. Oh No, this CHOICE is a mental mindset and determination to make the CHOICE to have only God and nothing else in your life which itself i.e. life is a gift from God. You choose to NOT see yourself in any fashion under any and every circumstance. Each morning when God awakes you, your first thought should be one of thanksgiving to God for awakening you, and every specific thought after that should be "vetted mentally" as to whether that thought came from Satan, you, or from God in any and under all circumstances before it's acted upon. This friend is walking with God as did Enoch. There can be nothing in your life ever that supersedes God ever. NOT even your very life! When Jesus said this: Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. He was NOT speaking about to too man, He was speaking of Himself. Later on, when Jesus said this: Joh 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

The word "lord" here is NOT speaking of Jesus but to that such as Pontifer who was the "lord" over Joseph. The word "friend" here is speaking of the one who "walks with God" such as did Enoch. The greater love Jesus spoke of was His own love for His creation i.e. man, that He willfully laid down His life for us. He was a man "the MAN" the "Son of MAN" when He made this statement, but He was also GOD in the flesh. It was His own love for you and I that He spoke of here. Yet, God will give to His friends the same kind of love that He has i.e. the Mryters who laid down their own lives for Him the Man of Galilee. Friends, real love is not making a choice as a choice goes to love God, the CHOICE itself is love to GOD. You choose to have no other THING in your life, no other event, no other human practice in your life but God alone. The television show called "Dancing with the Stars" is dancing with the fallen stars, demonic fallen spirits, demons. You cannot have anything human in your life if your desire is to one day be superhuman, supernatural, immortal, living among immortal beings for all eternity.

This life offers nothing to humanity other than eternal death, and unless you understand this, you cannot walk with God no matter how much you believe you are doing so. No amount of good deeds in this life merits you anything before God if those good deeds are not glorifying God. When Samaritan's Purse pitched the medical tents in New York in an attempt to help the hospitals with overflow. You must ask yourself what was their motive? Why did they do it? On whose authority did they do it? Was it GOD'S will for them to do it? Did their work there really make a difference or was it rejected by the Mayor of New York? Had it been God's will they would NOT have encountered any resistance as they encountered. They saw the resistance as Satan fighting against them. 

QUESTION: Can Satan fight against God and win? Of course not! Therefore, the resistance they encountered there was from wicked men, not from Satan himself, but from Satan working through wicked men i.e. the mayor of New York and the Demoncrats. WHY? Why did New York's mayor resist something good? Was that "good something" the field hospital's God's will?

Had it been God's will it would have been accepted and successful. Because it was rejected by wicked men should tell you that it wasn't God's ultimate will, but that of God's permissive will. God permits certain things to occur that are not His Ultimate will. 

Example: Is Job. What happened to Job was permitted by God "through His permissive will" to bring eventual glory to God "through His Ultimate Will" in giving back to Job his losses, but more importantly to teach Job what Job didn't fully understand. The same is true of Joseph in Egypt, Elijah and Elisha in Israel, with David in Jerusalem when Absolom attempted to usurp the kingdom from him. God has three different wills, His permissive, His passive, and His Ultimate wills. Every part of His creation is governed through these wills. God knew before He created Adam and Eve that they would fail the test. This was God's permissive will. His passive will allowed them to continue to live out their lives after they rejected Him, His Ultimate will, will be identified when 1Co 15:50-54 takes place at the resurrection of the just.

In between the CHOICE, the recognition of God as GOD must be made by all humanity who desires to dwell with God which means they cannot be themselves in this life under any circumstances. Yes, God grants us life at conception, and through His permissive and passive wills allows us to live the time He has decreed for each individual, but His Ultimate will is that you make the CHOICE to love Him above everything else in the known Universe. That means a career, education, family, work, church, parents, spouses, children, friends, entertainment habits, personal goals, even one's own health is not to take precedence over your CHOICE of God. There will be multitudes of actors, martial artists, beauty queens, dancers, Congressional leaders, Federal and State employees, split the Lake of Fire wide open. Yes, David danced before the Lord, but for the glory of God did he do so. 2Sa 6:14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. Many believe David danced naked from the words of his wife Michal. 2Sa 6:20,21 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.

One must understand what Milcal meant when she said "How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself." In the Hebrew mindset anytime one was not clothed with their outer garment i.e. their cloak, their everyday clothing, they were considered naked, even though the scripture states that David "was girded with a linen ephod" in which we would call in the Western mindset a "diaper", he was not shamelessly uncovered i.e. naked. David danced before the LORD i.e. before GOD, "ELOHIM" because he made the CHOICE to love God. 

Love is NOT a choice LOVE IS CHOICE towards GOD.
