(A few of My Point's of View)

This essay has absolutely nothing to do with Ellen G. White

I have been associated with this church denomination now since 1980 some 41 years now and it's been in my opinion a positive association. However, over the years I have come to believe that they are as are many other denominations "obsessed" with a few of their founders of the mid 19th century to the degree of overkill in their presentations of what is truth and what is not truth. They believe in the absolute infallibility of the written word of God as should any denomination who attempts to teach from it. However, some of their most brightest lights before the world today have made mistakes in their presentations to the church on the Second Coming of Jesus. They hold many biblical true doctrines found in scripture and their primary eschatology teachings are found in Revelation 14:6-8 called by the church as the Three Angels Messages and rightly so, because there are three separate messages proclaimed by the angels of God that have to do with the "End of the World events"

The first angel's message Revelation 14:6 given to the apostle John to then give to the world through the dissemination of the gospel message which reads: Rev 14:6,7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. This message extended from the time Jesus walked the earth in the early 1st century A.D. and has gone forth to the world from that time and will continue to be proclaimed by His saints until He returns in glory to collect His own. This is the true gospel, the biblical gospel, the truth as it is in Jesus Christ as recorded in His written word. It's NOT denominational doctrine in its scope but is biblical truth as Jesus taught the truth.

Therefore, it simply proclaims the Divine Heavenly intent for God's saints to proclaim the truth of the gospel message that Jesus taught the truth, nothing added to it, nothing detracted from it. Part B of the first angel's message is found in the follow up verse 7 which reads: "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." This verse has within it a special message proclaimed with a loud voice that emphasizes its urgency which applies from the time of Jesus to the End of the world when Jesus returns. That of the "judgment!" The urgency to hear this message is found in the phrase "the hour of his judgment is come" which is in the "present tense" and means that at the time this angel sounded IN JOHNS VISION when it was sounded with a "loud voice" that "that hour" had arrived at that time. However, until the verse itself was actually understood, the judgment hour message continued from the time the angel's herald was made to the time mankind was given the understanding of the verse and would continue all the way to the time just before Jesus returns. This angelic herald will cease shortly before Jesus returns in glory.

QUESTION: You are now asking how do I know this? The answer can be found in scripture itself as when Jesus returns the "judgment hour" the two words Divine inspiration chose to use for this judgment proclamation to John since God is not restricted by time as we know it, doesn't imply an actual hour, but implies an actual proclamation of the beginning of the judgment of God's saints which will be completed before Jesus returns NOT after He arrives. Jesus Himself verified this when He stated in Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. The Lord of glory would NOT be (a just God) giving out any rewards to anyone before they were judged worthy of those rewards. When He returns to earth His rewards are with Him as the verse states "to give", "to award", to His saints who deserve those rewards.

The judgment hour message of Revelation 14:7 wasn't fully understood by the saints of God until the "Book of Daniel" was unsealed in the mid 19th century as it had been (sealed) "not to be understood until God intended) at God's command until the time of the end. Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. It wasn't until the mid 19th century around 1830 the time of the change in travel i.e. the appearance of the "Iron Horse" arrived that man's knowledge began to increase and the "time of the end" would arrive. Then came the telegraph in communications across the land and what some term as the (industrial revolution) was underway for humanity.

The Iron Horse i.e. the invention of Train Travel did indeed allow the "many" to travel to and fro across the new world called America. It then expanded throughout the entire earth and now is in space in the ISS and beyond. So truly the Book of Daniel has been unsealed and we are in the "time of the end" without doubt. This first angel's message can be understood by those whom God has revealed it. The first angel's message is primarily a clarion call to give honor and glory to the Creator of Heaven and Earth in the phrase "Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Here we see the commission given to everyone on earth who claims to belong to God, the command for the proper worship of God. To believe and see that God is the Great Creator of "heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." This truth points all the way back to the first creation week of seven days, and points the one who believes God specifically to the 4th Commandment of God found in Exodus 20:8-11 which points then back to Genesis 2:1-3. ALL of which identifies our Great God and Creator of all things. The three aspects of the first angel's message carries within it 1. God is the Creator 2. The judgment hour message. The true worship day for God's saints. The rest of Christendom refuse to believe these truths! This is why the denomination promotes, preaches, and proclaims the Commandments of God, the Sabbath Day worship day which is Saturday, and the imminent return of Jesus Christ. Thus their name Seventh Day Adventist all of which merely means that they are a group of bible-believing Christians in these "last days" that believe that God meant what He spoke. Of which I completely agree 100 %.

The second angel's message Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. This verse takes personal immense and intense study to fully understand just who "Babylon" IS, and how she has "fallen." It also takes some background study in bible prophecy as to the meaning of certain words within the verse i.e. "wine" that thing that fallen Babylon has made all nations on earth drink of is in prophetic understanding as used in this verse "false doctrine" a "false teaching" of the word of God within the churches that are considered by God to be "fallen churches" teaching "false doctrines." It is these false churches worldwide i.e. "all nations" that contain these false churches of every denomination within all 33,000 of them who teach and preach "false doctrines" that constitutes "fallen Babylon."

Just as ancient Babylon the literal "great city" of her day collapsed the night God intervened when Belshazzar blasphemed against God by drinking literal fermented "wine" from the golden Temple vessels taken from the Temple fell that same night, so too will the end-time Babylon i.e. the apostate churches "fall" and the word "fallen" is used here twice for emphasis and designates the surety of the fall the same way the Hand Writing on the Wall before the king of ancient Babylon ensured the imminence of its fall by Darius the Mede that same night Daniel read the interpretation. Actual real biblical "true wine" is unfermented grape juice which is a type of the antitype of true doctrine and has no alcoholic content "no false doctrine with it". The "wine" as used in this verse is fermented wine i.e. "spoiled grape juice", fermented bad grape juice "false doctrine". The word wine in this verse implies "bad, wrong, unbiblical, doctrines taught within the end-time Babylon church denominations in "all nations" upon the earth, and God through the second angel's message is making this known to the world and to the churches in all nations that constitute the prophetic Babylon and is called in the verse "that great city." That implies the specific article which implies the 'false doctrines and the false churches that teach them and is called Babylon. The word used here of "fornication" has a double meaning. Fornication in prophecy carries the definition of both "fornicating against God" and leads to "adultery" against God as the church is the Bride of Christ. Therefore, the false churches preaching and teaching false "wine" false doctrines" are actually "whores" against God. That is why the scripture calls Babylon the Great i.e. the mother of all churches in all nations teaching "false wine", "false doctrines" the "Whore of Babylon" Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

This whore "mother church" from which all other non-whore churches came from or out of is none other than the Roman Catholic Church System "the WHORE church" who persecuted God's saints for 1260 long years we call the Dark Ages of human history. Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The non-whore churches are called "harlots" here, as they are considered to be the daughters of the great whore church. Those Protestant churches who teach the traditions of the Roman church still to this day are seen by God as "harlot" churches of their whorish mother church i.e. the Roman Catholic Church System. This church calls its leaders "father" so-in-so, it doesn't allow its priest to marry, it says you must confess to a priest in confession, it crucifies Jesus in every spoken mass, it's the Mother of all the fallen false "Harlot" church denominations that sprang up from her during and after the Protestant Reformation. Because of this single church on earth falsely considered a Christian church by more than a billion members. Many will accept the warning given in the final "Third Angels Message here:

The Third Angels Herald! Rev 14:9,10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. This herald as well as that of the first angel also contains the word "worship". The Three Angels messages mainly call for God's saints to recognize Him as their Creator and concerns "worship" and worship takes place corporately within a church setting. Satan hates this message as it reveals his motis-operandi and is one of the reasons today that all the churches nationwide and around the world are shut down. It' not from Covid-19 as they would have you believe. There's a more sinister plot afoot!

Because of the "wine of Babylon" false doctrine is being preached today by the fallen churches to the people, and the people have long believed the "spoiled fermented doctrines", because of this millions stand vulnerable and will accept the "Mark of the Beast" when it's presented and its presentation will come through "climate change" law that will make it illegal to speak positively about any other day of rest other than the 24 hour period we call Sunday. By this, the pope's encyclicals i.e. the Vatican on Laudato Si and Fratelli Tuttie will become "Ecclesiastical World Law" for all the churches in all nations upon the earth (in order to protect) "Our Common Home as he calls it." When this takes place and it will then know assuredly that the Mark of the Beast has risen among humanity. And if you go along to get along and accept this world following implemented by and through law, then you will have accepted the Mark fo the Beast and the Third Angels Message will apply to YOU which states: " If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.

This is why on almost every large Seventh Day Adventist church marque you will see the Three Angels Messages icons sounding the "Trumpet Alarms" of the Three Angels Messages, this is why there is a website and television called Three Angels Messages and Three Angels Broadcasting Network or 3ABN Television.

Do I agree with everything they teach? Not exactly as they teach it. 

Example 1. The church teaches that when Jesus comes again that the very brightness of His coming will slay the wicked and it's based on this verse. 2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. Here concerning this truth and it is truth, they "have a tendency" in their teaching of this verse to "put God in a box." Some of the most prominent leaders within the SDA church don't seem to be able to ask themselves the question "Does Jesus come ONLY at His Second Coming in the brightness of His coming?" Or could it be possible that that same "brightness of His coming" could also be seen at His Third Coming after the 1000 years elapsed?"

One of the major keys to understanding this verse is found in the word "destroy" concerning the final condition of the wicked. The wicked of the earth are NOT destroyed "eradicated from off the earth" at the Second Coming of Jesus, which the eradication of the wicked doesn't take place until His Third coming after the 1000 years pass away then they are destroyed by fire and brimstone. So to try and share this with some prominent SDA leaders today is like trying to crack a "coconut" with a rubber knife. They aren't able to see this truth. Can this truth be backed up by scripture? YES most definitely in Revelation 16:21 which says: Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. This is the falling of the seventh and final plague of "great hail" upon the earth after the harvest of the earth is completed and the saints of God are with Jesus in the clouds and God pours out the seventh plague which after it's done it designed work, will begin the 1000 years of rest for the earth.

TAKE NOTE HERE: The verse in the latter part of the verse specifically states that "men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail." Now comes the question "Can a dead man blaspheme God with their mouth?" It's quite a redundant question, isn't it? The word of God implies that the wicked are still alive upon the earth when the seventh and final plague falls. Then how could the brightness of Jesus' coming at the Second Coming destroy the wicked if there are still men/women alive on the earth after the Second Coming to BLASPHEME God because of the hail falling in the seventh plague? This verse in Revelation 16:21 clears up the issue in that of 2Th 2:8 which is NOT speaking of the Second Coming, but is speaking of the Third Coming of Jesus after the 1000 years pass when Jesus at that time will indeed come in ALL His Shekinah Glory, with ALL heaven in His train along with the FATHER Himself. It is at that time through the hand of God in His brightness seen radiating from His GLORY in the eyes of ALL the wicked of the earth that has ever lived on earth will be destroyed when Revelation 20:9 takes place after the 1000 years at the Third Coming of Jesus. Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured (destroyed) them.

GRANTED! No church on earth is perfect and has all the answers. However, if you just listen to some of those leaders regardless of their denomination without searching in the word of God what they tell you as did the Breaens to verify their understanding as to whether it meshes with God's word or not, it to be willfully self-deceived in believing what they tell you.

EXAMPLE 2. Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. This verse as the SDA church teaches it today is also misunderstood by some of the denomination's most visible evangelists and ministers/preachers. As with the previous example they again "place God in a box" and cannot see the truth of the verse because they willfully choose to believe a long-held Pioneer doctrine based on this verse. Many within Adventism who claim to be Adventist in their beliefs refuse to believe God's word while they stand before the people thinking they are preaching it. The above verse clearly states: "Behold, he cometh with clouds;(Does Jesus just come ONE time with clouds or does He come TWICE with clouds?) and every eye shall see him, (When will "every eye" of all those who have ever lived upon earth be capable of seeing Him all at the same time?) and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail (Will any of the Redeemed of the earth "WAIL" when they see Jesus arrive the Second time, or will they rejoice?) because of him. Even so, Amen.

Did God say in Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." The verse in question is taught by the leadership within the SDA church that in somehow in someway that the very men who crucified Jesus on the cross are going to have some sort of "special resurrection" so that they can behold Jesus when He returns to earth at the Second Coming." This teaching is absolute "heresy" if its believed as nowhere in scripture is recorded any mention of any more than "two resurrections" ever to take place. Yes, other resurrections occurred on a personal level found within scripture for specific reasons all of which were done to show the power of God in bringing the dead back to life, the most notable of which outside of the Lord is the resurrection of Lazarus.

However, in the SDA's church teachings on the "special resurrection" of "those who pierced the side of Jesus" as being some special event to prove to them that Jesus is who He said He was is ludicrous teachings, as that means that they would be resurrected at the time of the first resurrection of the saints of God when Jesus returns. God need NOT prove Himself to anyone especially fallen mankind at the Second Coming. This teaching doesn't mesh with the word of God and is to be discarded as non-biblical in its presentation. I have just in the past 30 days discovered that even some of those within Adventism who claim to know the "Amazing Facts" of the truth of God's word to this day cannot see truth when it is presented to them under their noses.

According to God's spoken word, all those who have part in the "first resurrection are "Blessed and holy." QUESTION: If those men who pierced the side of Jesus on the Cross are by Him given some special resurrection at the Second Coming in order to prove Himself to them that He is who He said He was, and that's the only reason they are brought forth (is to me) a "ha, ha, see I told you so God" and it's not biblical truth. For those men to have any part in the first resurrection according to God would be for them to be "blessed and holy" and I don't know about you, but men who murdered the Son of God on the Cross with a puncture wound from a spear thrust into His side unless they repented before they died would not be considered "blessed and holy" by the word of God. Here again the Adventist leadership in some of their most outspoken ministers "have it wrong again." They put God in a box in their thinking when the verse in question clearly speaks of the Third Coming of Jesus when everyone is alive all at the same time. Every eye can see Him. The saints of God in the Holy City, and all the wicked resurrected at the Third Coming all alive at once, all being able to see the Lord in all His glory just before the wicked are destroyed.

Now, look at the verse in question again. Rev 1:7 Behold, he (JESUS) cometh with clouds (AGAIN at His Third Coming); and every eye (NOT some but EVERY "EYE" ABLE TO SEE)  shall see him, (AT THE SAME TIME) and they (THOSE WICKED MEN WHO CRUCIFIED JESUS ON THE CROSS) also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth (NONE OF GOD'S REDEEMED WILL "WAIL" EITHER AT THE SECOND COMING OR AT THE THIRD COMING so the verse implies the WICKED they will WAIL both at the second and third COMING especially at the THIRD COMING as they face eternal destruction) shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. How many will WAIL? The phrase "all kindreds of the earth" is speaking of the wicked of the earth. They are not of the New Jerusalem, they are earthy, wicked followers of the "god of this world", not a few, not some, but ALL kindreds of the earth will wail, and since the redeemed will NOT wail either at the Second Coming and especially at the Third Coming of Jesus, this verse is speaking of the Third Coming NOT the Second Coming of Jesus. It's speaking of ALL those wicked KINDRED of the earth who will WAIL. Which means the Third Coming of Jesus and NOT His second coming.

I have found a few of the modern Adventist teachings that are simply unbiblical and they are taught by supposed learned men of the cloth with minister credentials under their belts and many years of ministry. However, they don't seem to get it when the truth of these two examples are brought to their attention by someone other than their immediate cohorts in the ministry, to me of which reeks with a selfish attitude on their part. I will be the first to say I don't know everything! and I will be the first to refute false doctrines, but the fact that false doctrines do exist and are taught today within Adventism, then makes them also a part of the fallen Babylon of Revelation 14:8.

I'm not nor do I desire to be seen as an Adventist dissing the church of my choice as I have discovered over the last 41 years that the Adventist church does indeed have and preach the truth of God's word. They are the "bushel" NOT the few bad apples I speak of in this essay. 

No church affiliation or church denomination is taken into account by God as having any merit any salvific merit towards one's salvation. It is in Jesus Christ alone that salvation is offered to humanity as a "free gift" from Him. That salvation is His alone to give to those who ask for the same and are contrite and humble sinners who see their need of redemption back to God through the redemption in Jesus Christ. Any redemption we may have is His redemption, His accomplishment, His faith in the Father that moved Him to lay down His life as a sacrifice for sin i.e. it's His perfect life imputed to the one who believes instantly when one believes and imparted daily afresh each day afterward as one walks in obedience to God's truth. Without which "no man shall see God!" Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

No one regardless of their age, social, religion, church denomination, or any other affiliation can live out Hebrews 12:14 without first having Acts 5:32 as your prerequisite. Without obedience to what God has revealed to you as His truth that you're to obey, you can't possibly be guided by the "Spirit of God." God doesn't give the spirit i.e. the Holy Spirit to those who disobey His word.

Act 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
