JESUS IS THE LIGHT

"Knowledge is synonymous" with Understanding both Knowledge and Understanding are LIGHT.)

If Jesus "is the light" what is "the light that Jesus IS"? Most would answer JESUS is the light. We know who Jesus is (He's the Son of God (IMMANUEL) who is, in reality, GOD WITH US as the Savior and Redeemer of the creation. This presence of God with Us DID NOT just take place when God visited humanity for 33 brief years. God has always been with us before we were.

Is it "the light" Jesus as Jesus Himself or is it what Jesus lived and taught that the scripture calls "LIGHT?" When John the Baptist came preaching the Lamb of God he was (preaching and teaching (by the Light) when the light of or the revelation of "Jesus" was NOT yet known to man". Speaking of JTB the scripture states:

Joh 1:7-9 The same (JTB) came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. The word "men" here is an added word by the translators and is not found in the original text so the text would read without the word as follows. Joh 1:7-9 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.

(Which implies the entire world itself and all of its inhabitants.)

(The light as used here represents Jesus, but that "light" spoken of is NOT Jesus Himself as the person Jesus. It's God giving to humanity the knowledge of His plan of redemption "this is the LIGHT" or understanding. Both JTB and Jesus would reveal the "light" of the knowledge of God who would reveal through His incarnation, birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension back to heaven God's plan of redemption and salvation to man.)

Joh 1:8 He (JTB) was not that Light, (John was NOT the Savior of the World) but was sent to bear witness of that Light. The Savior of the World i.e. the Lamb of God who would take it away by overcoming (Sin in the Flesh). Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (This friend is the LIGHT!) The light shown to the world through Jesus Christ is the knowledge of the plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.)

(Again the two words 'was sent" are added words. Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but to bear witness of that Light. (JTB was NOT the Savior of the World, he was not that "light" as he could NOT reveal the plan of redemption ONLY Jesus his cousin could do that.)

(Here it's made clear that "the light" is the knowledge, the understanding of God and His plan of reconciliation, redemption, and salvation of the creation back to God. JTB was NOT the light, he was a prophet who was a witness as to the knowledge of God's plan. Jesus is only called the "light" here as the one who would make the revelation real to humanity by and through His time on Earth.)

Joh 1:9 That (Jesus Christ) was the true Light, (or Understanding, i.e. Knowledge expressed in His redemption plans) which lighteth (Gave Understanding to) every man that cometh into the world.

1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, (Through the correct understanding) and (Yet) walk in darkness, (Or walk without knowledge or understanding) we lie, and do not the truth. (You cannot live the truth before God without the knowledge and understanding of God. In this case Jesus Christ it's IMPOSSIBLE. Thus incomes the preacher! God calls preaching "foolishness" 1Co 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

In the above verse (1Co 1:21) we see contrasted the "wisdom of God" (Revealed to humanity as "LIGHT" with the "wisdom of the man." COMPLETE opposites. Unless God reveals through His "wisdom" (the light of understanding to any individual they cannot obtain the knowledge God desires them to have. This too is impossible unless God wills it.) God says Hos 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. This is LIGHT!

Eph 1:17-23 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. THIS IS LIGHT!

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, (Which means through knowledge and understanding) as he is in the light, (the knowledge and understanding) we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (The phrase "one with another" here encompasses first being one with Jesus and all those others who are then we will have fellowship with Jesus first on a personal level and with like-minded believers in whom ALL have the "knowledge and understanding" of the plan of salvation and have Jesus as their Savior, Lord, King, over their lives. This is LIGHT!

You cannot accept Jesus as your Savior without having "light" i.e knowledge and understanding of the word of God. It's only when you have His "immortal word" within you that you can obtain the knowledge and understanding necessary to die. To die to SELF! If any part of YOU is alive in your relationship with Jesus, you're NOT a servant of God, you only think in your (own mind) that you are. That doesn't make it so friend! Many of today's Christians are walking in the dark thinking they're walking in the light. Satan loves them!

I had rather have the Love of God! That friend takes a personal effort! The idea that after you're baptized you have nothing else to do, is the world most "massive" lie. And get this that LIE is being taught by the church!
