BORN CURSED, DIED JUSTIFIED YET ALIVE IN JESUS CHRIST

Friends, what is life all about? Better yet what is LOVE all about? Can one LOVE or screw up love where NO love exists within them? I was born in a very dysfunctional family consisting of eight boys and four girls PLUS mom and dad. Fourteen souls came into being upon this Earth and yet NOT one of them understood nor even today understands what it means to LOVE. My dad could have starred in a "mad scientist" movie and my mother could have been one of those confused women on the VIEW! As for familial love within my family, it was nonexistent. It is still nonexistent now after the sixty-six years I have lived upon God's Earth. To this day none of my brothers or sisters understand real love or how to apply it towards another. Oh, self-love exists in abundance within all of us but as to how to love another outside of SELF they cannot fathom that kind of love, nor do they even care. For them, all that matters is the love of themselves in both their everyday life and towards others real love is absent. They are incapable of seeing it any other way!

I have searched the scripture over the last 53 years on occasion looking for a bible character who exhibited a totality of self-love and was devoid of the ability to love others. I found many within the pages of Holy writ beginning in the Garden of Eden. It was the love of SELF that moved Eve to listen to and hear the devil's suggestion made to her, that God had lied to her when He said: Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Satan said: Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. (the first hint of human IMMORTALITY) Eve believed the devil above God and brought "eternal death" upon humanity. But, since misery loves company she was not satisfied in being the only guilty one as she took of the forbidden fruit of the tree, and presented it to her husband Adam. Together they both rejected God's LOVE for them and self-love and self-preservation took over from that point forward.

It wasn't until God took the life of a living animal to make coats of skin for their covering, that both Adam and Eve realized that God meant what He spoke. DEATH came to the little animal by the hand of God Himself because atoning "blood" laid down in death was the only remedy for SIN and disobedience. God's just judgment against SIN and Iniquity must be upheld and the only way possible was the shedding of blood i.e. the giving of life that pointed forward to the shed Blood of the Lamb of God, could SIN be taken out of the way and eventually be destroyed many years later. I don't mean at the Cross of Christ that SIN was taken out of the way, I mean that after the 1000 years SIN will finally be taken out of the way and completely destroyed from God's creation at that time when all the rebellious individuals will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Even the FACT that SIN and rebellion will be destroyed in the end in the flames, reveals God's LOVE and MERCY by His GRACE.

Think about this today. Suppose there were such a thing as a human immortal soul and then you would have to live throughout all eternity with all your current self-guilt for your personal sins on a daily basis forever. It is because of God's MERCY that the wicked are forever destroyed eternally. Real true LOVE i.e. God's LOVE demands DEATH before real true LIFE can be bestowed to the one who dies to self. Before the fall real true LIFE i.e. the life of God was bestowed upon both Adam and Eve and until disobedience to God entered because of selfish desires those of Eve and Adam together, then real current LIFE called for a REAL CURRENT DEATH to SELF which afterward when the person actually dies the physical life if they maintain their relationship with God, the real LIFE i.e. eternal life can be given back to the one who dies for the sake of Jesus Christ in the here and now. Therefore, the LOVE of God demands the DEATH of the love of SELF so that God can restore REAL LIFE back to the repentant servant of God.

Therefore, the Love of Jesus towards you through His MERCY extended to YOU is only a probationary period FOR YOU, to see if YOU'RE willing to die for Him as He died for you. Walking with God not only bestows eternal life back to you but also requires a spiritual DEATH willfully chosen by you and from you in order to have the eternal spiritual LIFE with Christ. The question of the rich young ruler to Jesus was: Mar 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? This is what Jesus meant when He said to the rich young ruler: Mar 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Let's suppose for a minute that this man said "OK I'LL DO IT!" Just his willingness alone to do it would have been enough to save him right then right now and Jesus would have said to him, oh that's not necessary son, the fact that you were willing to do as I asked of you proved your faith in my word, and I bestow now upon you if ye can receive it "eternal life" and you now have treasure in heaven. The definite article used here in the phrase "take up the cross" is speaking of the same cross that Jesus bore, the cross of self-denial to the point of death. Which is the death to SELF!

The Cross Jesus bore is the same cross that we're required to bear. In Jesus' case, it led to physical death upon a physical cross. In our case, it leads to the death of self (a willingness to die) on the spiritual plane yet while we are alive and if maintained through faith will lead to eternal LIFE reinstituted upon the individual at the end of their lives, even though many who have died in Jesus may sleep the sleep of death many thousands of years i.e. like Abraham, David, Jacob etc. before that life is made a reality for them. To do this takes a love for God and if one's such as my family members do not know what love is, it must be learned in the here and now in this life before any one of them can truly love God. The same is true for YOU friend! If you attempt to love God with the same love you think you have for your family IT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE TO GOD!

Mat 10:37-39 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. The love of God is NOT the same kind of love you have been taught all your life within your family. It's a different kind of love that calls for a complete DENIAL of the individual self in every circumstance. In today's world ever since the fall of Eden mankind doesn't fathom the love of God even when they attempt to look in their minds upon the Cross of Jesus in their mind's eye. For them, all they see is a suffering Jesus who was willing to lay down His life for a rebellious creation. They see the sacrifice made there, they know the price paid for rebellion, but they can't fathom what motivated that sacrifice nor why the sacrifice had to take place. It wasn't just God's love for mankind that Jesus came, but rather Jesus came to vilify God's Universal Law that had been broken first in heaven, then upon the Earth. God's JUSTICE demanded the death of the rebellious creation that broke His Universal DIVINE LAW. 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Since Jesus died for SIN: Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Since Jesus had "no sin" how did this truth occur? How could a sinless Jesus "die unto sin" or die while bearing sin within His own body upon the tree and yet be absolute without any sin? Better yet, how did Jesus, have the SIN to "die unto" if He were and He was and IS without SIN? 1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes (Flogging and Death) ye were healed. Better yet, HOW DID JESUS BEAR YOUR SIN when you weren't born into the world yet to commit any such "personal" sin back in 31 A.D.? If you didn't exist yet when Jesus died on the cross "How could His death on the Cross" pay the debt you owed to God once you were born into the world some thousand plus years into the future and committed those sins?

There is ONLY one answer friends Jesus died a corporate death that involved every human being both created in Adam and Eve's instance and born through the cervix in the case of every human being ever to be born on Earth. How could this be? Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. When the incarnation was announced to Mary the mother of Jesus by the heavenly angel Gabriel, that incarnation didn't just involve a single human being friends, it involved the entire Creation of God both in heaven and upon Earth. Jesus was born as the corporate human being Savior of the World and rectifier to set straight the taint within God's UNIVERSE but not only for human beings alone. His death yes was primarily to redeem the creation of mankind that had fallen, but mankind wasn't the only aspect of the creation that needed or required redemption. The Universe in toto had been tainted with selfishness through Lucifer, even a third of the angelic host created perfectly by the hand of God fell prey to Lucifer's sophistry. When this happened God's Holy character was jeopardized before the entire Universe. His Justice in dealing with Lucifer's rebellion was placed in question before the unfallen creation. This took place long before the world was and when the world came into being as God spoke the creation of it it was made perfect until Lucifer turned Satan infested it like a disease.

Now, not only the Universe was tainted with iniquity, but now the fresh creation of God was also tainted with rebellion. Ask yourself this question! Could it be possible that God created the Earth and mankind specifically in His own image with the end goal of eradicating, in the end, both Lucifer and Iniquity and restoring His JUST CHARACTER that had been brought into question back to His harmonious Universe? Mankind tends to see himself as the crowing creation of God, but is he actually? Did God need mankind before the world was? Or in God's infinite DIVINE mind who knows all things KNOW beforehand that mankind would fail the test in Eden? YES ABSOLUTELY! You've heard it said that "ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE", there's a lot of truth to that saying. God's love for His Universe is as absolute as His character and there can be no room within it of any taint what-so-ever. This celestial cancer had to be removed albeit it infected mankind made in the image of God, the fall of man itself was not a surprise to God, He knew it would take place before it took place, but His justice demanded DEATH because death had crept into His creation in Lucifer. Did God know the day He banished Lucifer from heaven that this would spread to the rest of His creation that existed in the Universe before the world was? Absolutely! He knew. God knows everything before it happens.

So the logical question then is "Why didn't He stop it from happening?" Because to do so would have done nothing towards vindicating His righteous character before the heavenly host and the unfallen worlds. There was much more at stake here than just the fall of humanity! Only God could come up with the proper solution to rectify this problem and came up with it He did. God chose to prove to the Universe that He Himself would give His own life a ransom to recover the creation both of the Universe and fallen mankind. God's absolute perfect love for His creation perfectly solved the imperfect problem. It's this absolute perfect love of God that we must understand (in order) to love God pleasingly that He accepts. Human love alone will not suffice. Human love is tainted with human Sin even after one comes to Christ. On your best day, you will sin in some way be it by commission or by omission and you need a Savior every hour, minute, and second throughout the day.

Therefore, real love the love God requires for us to have is non-existent in this life, and can only be found in Him. Even when a parent expresses the greatest concern for their children it's still NOT the love of God friends. It's human tainted with sin human love. Even the love of the Martyrs that resulted in their being burned at the stake could NOT have sustained them in the flames had not God imparted His own love to them. It's only God's love that gives one the strength to die. Look at this verse again: Mat 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? He asked the question and he got his answer "go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor" sell all your material stuff and give the proceeds to those who are in need BE SELFLESS. Express SELF SACRIFICE i.e. and that takes a different kind of love other than human love friends. There have been uncountable songs written on the subject of love, yet based on human understanding. If it's human love it's NOT God's love, if it's God's love it's NOT human love. They are as separate as night and day!

Then how should one love then? One must express the same love God expressed towards us in and through Jesus Christ's willingness to give His life a ransom for the world. You're not born with this ability it can only come as a gift from God. This was exemplified by Jesus Himself in the Garden passion when He said "Mat_26:39(c) nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Jesus knew it was not His will that was important here, but that of the FATHER. Jesus was speaking to the FATHER here as both the Son of God and as a man, both the human and divine natures. The Son aspect was "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me" the man aspect was "nevertheless not as I will." However, both natures of Jesus carried the divine love of God, the perfect love as Jesus was God. You may say no "Jesus was the Son of God." Let's see what God says! Through Isaiah God says: Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government (of God) shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus said: Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one. Then the FATHER says through the apostle Paul in the entire chapter of Hebrews one the following. Heb 1:1-14 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he (GOD) made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he (GOD) had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Jesus IS GOD as much GOD as the FATHER. Human minds cannot conceive of GOD because God is incomprehensible to the human mind. To fully understand GOD is to be GOD Himself and this is what Jesus meant when He said: Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. One day soon the redeemed will be in the presence of God when they are caught up in the clouds to meet Him there. This will only be the beginning of an eternal revelation of God as God is exhaustible in every aspect of His character. To say that one fully understands love is to believe a self-made lie, as ONLY God fully understands real love. I used to ask God to reveal to me His love and to do so sounds good on the surface, but had God answered my sincere prayer it would have destroyed me on the spot as no human being can possess the divine mind of God and it's only in His divinity that real true love exists.

So if you're struggling with loving or being loved take heart it's only your fallen nature. Forget about understanding love and concentrate on being a servant and God will through His love for you one day show you what real love consists of. It's absolute HUMILITY devoid of any selfish desire what-so-ever. Real love is a one on one relationship with God now in this life and forever in the eternal life, real love will be manifest towards GOD ALONE! This friend is TRUE LOVE!
