THE REASON

THE REASON

EVIL, predominates in this world and now "specifically in America " is that people don't understand the gift of God because the churches have failed in their attempt to introduce people to the Creator of Heaven and Earth. The churches DO NOT know Jesus Christ and what He has done in reality concerning the ATONEMENT made for humanity in and through Him on the cross. They teach the doctrine of Rome of the "substitutionary death on the Cross" of Jesus dying in our place and are incapable of explaining that action. For them they believe that Jesus died in our place and this is only a single aspect of the cross. Yes, Jesus did die for us, but He died (AS US) not in the place of us. This is what makes His "substitutionary death" the substitute in that we (the entire human race) was (IN HIM) when He died on the cross.

This is why Jesus is called the Savior of the World, He saved in that (ONE ACT) the whole of humanity. However, not all humans will accept the (gift) from God. Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Ask yourself this question? Since the scripture clearly states that: 2Ch 25:4 But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.

Since Jesus had (NO SIN) why did He have to die, and how could He die as He was both human and divine? Both attributes of Jesus Christ, both His human side and His divine side BOTH (must die) in order for Jesus to effect the ATONEMENT for all humanity. But how can a "God" die? Friends, it's by His (own) personal choice. He is God and He can "die at will" and yet "live again at will." This is a truth that mankind cannot grasp in his/her finite minds. Jesus said this by (faith alone) in His FATHER, because He knew that once His human consciousness died in human death, the only way He could return back to life again was by the power of His FATHER. Joh 10:17,18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

NOTICE: Jesus was speaking here as BOTH man and God. The phrase "I lay down my life" Jesus was speaking as a man but He was also the "Divine Son of God, He was and IS God." The phrase "that I might take it again" Jesus was speaking as a man completely dependent upon His FATHER by and through FAITH. The phrase "I lay it down of myself" Jesus was speaking as the "Divine Son of God" His willingness to give His own "divine life" for humanity. The phrase "I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again" Jesus was speaking as God. Then the Lord concludes with this truth that He spoke here as a "commandment that He received from His Father." The preplanned choice to make the ATONEMENT for humanity included the "commandment" Jesus spoke of here.

But you ask "How can an immortal, divine, God die?" You forget He is God and nothing is impossible for God. Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. God then evidently has then an "IMMORTAL ETERNAL CONSCIOUSNESS" aside from any physical appearance He may choose to take upon Himself. With this "IMMORTAL ETERNAL CONSCIOUSNESS" God can die and live again at WILL. But in the case of the Son of Man with the human consciousness, and the "divine Son of God" both dwelling in the one man Jesus Christ. When the man Jesus died, the consciousness of Jesus also ceased both human and divine. This is why the FATHER worked to "raise Him from the dead. Jesus did NOT resurrect Himself his consciousness as the Son of Man died with Him on the cross. However, when God the Son died on the cross since He was in the flesh of humanity the death of His humanity was no different than the first death that you and I must die. It was NOT the human death of Jesus Christ that affected your ATONEMENT, but that of His "divine death" and since Jesus had the consciousness of BOTH man and God when He died on the cross in order for the "Divine Atonement" to be efficacious towards humanity, not only did His human physical life die, but His "Divine Consciousness" as the Son of God  also "died with Him" for a short period to affect the ATONEMENT. This took place when Jesus felt the separation on the cross from His FATHER. This is a hard concept to accept for the finite mind, never-the-less a fact.

The divine consciousness of the Son of God momentairly ceased sometime between 12 noon and 3:pm and the Lord couldn't feel the presence of His Heavenly FATHER which made Him cry out "My God, My God, whay hast thou forsaken me!" From this moment forward Jesus tread the winepress of the fierceness of God's wrath against SIN alone which is the "second death". Isa 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

Only God can pass through the portals of the (second eternal death) that you and I deserve and live again as a glorified human being that He was in the resurrection. Once again both human and divine as He was restored by the FATHER. Gal 1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead. Jesus the Son of God, the Son of Man was DEAD in the tomb. This is why Jesus cried out on the cross: Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? In order to affect the ATONEMENT the eternal Son of God would have to die eternally which is the "second death" that the wicked must die, but since God cannot die for all eternity, the eternal death that the Son of God died on the cross, He died before He expired as a human being. The eternal separation of Jesus the Son of God from His FATHER took place before Jesus the Son of Man finally died the physical death of man on the cross. And since Jesus' DIVINITY could NOT die eternally as He is ONE with the FATHER and the Holy Spirit it was a brief moment that ONLY God, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit can fully understand. Since "divinity" CAN'T DIE it chose to place itself in (a state of LIMBO) for a short time on the cross so the Son of God could experience the SECOND DEATH for ALL MANKIND.

The phrase from Jesus "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" is proof positive that something took place on the cross after 12 noon and before 3pm when Jesus said: Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. What was that "something?" It was what the scripture calls and is grossly misunderstood and misinterpreted Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? I.e. the GRAVE. This verse is by some interpreted that Jesus descended into "hell" while He lay in the tomb. He was DEAD without consciousness! They forget that Jesus died as a man i.e. the God man, the Son of Man, totally unconscious in death as are all mankind who die the first physical death. The verse means that Jesus descended into the "second death" experience which took place on the cross before Jesus died the physical first death of all mankind. It was this "divine experience" on the cross of Christ before He died as a man that makes His death efficacious for the Atonement.

Jesus died the "second death" FIRST on the cross, and the FIRST physical death last when He said "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. DIED! What took place on the cross of Jesus Christ was far more, much more, than the average Christian of today understands. It was the "divine life" of the Son of God going through the portals of the "second death" and then returning back to His human life on the cross before 3:pm and in the statement of Jesus that said "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit" is proof that the separation "of being forsaken by His FATHER" experienced by Jesus before He died, was restored before He died as the Son of Man on the cross and Jesus placed His spirit into the Hands of His FATHER. The physical sufferring of Jesus was done at the hands of wicked men and has little to nothing to do with your salvation other than it brought about His physical death.

There's much more to the death of the Lord on the Cross than just being out "substitute" or dying in our place. Jesus did NOT die for us but He died rather AS US. How is this possible you probably are asking? Because at the Incarnation in the phrase "God made Him" to be SIN for us when Jesus was formed in the womb of His mother God the FATHER as only He could "placed the whole of humanity IN HIM." 2Co 5:21 For he [GOD the FATHER] hath made him [Jesus the Son] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; [Technically speaking Jesus the Son of Man wasn't worthy of physical death because he had NO sin, so this is to be considerd within the spiritual and not the literal] that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. [As the Son of God] Jesus had NO personal sin, but He was MADE SIN, made the HUMAN RACE at His Incarnation and this made Him SIN i.e. able to die both the first and the second deaths.]. How was He made sin? Because the whole of humanity was placed IN HIM when the divine spark of life within the womb of a virgin through the Holy Spirit of God took place, Jesus was born in Bethlehem AS THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE, the representative of the entire inhabited world past, present at the time, and all future time after His birth, humanity was IN CHRIST from His birth.

Therefore, when Jesus died on the Cross ALL died IN HIM because ALL were placed IN HIM in the INCARNATION and since He had already experienced the "second death" we all deserve His death "Divine Side" made Him the Savior of the entire world, as His death saved the whole of humanity. 2Co 5:14,15 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. This is how Jesus could taste "death" i.e. "the second death" for ALL humanity. Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Just as all humanity was IN HIM at His birth, ALL surrendered UNTO HIM will be His own when He returns.

The idea adopted that Jesus was just your substitute on the cross, a man dying in your place is the most superficial misunderstanding of the Atonement. There was much, much, many times more than what you are having preached to you from the pulpit friends. This is why many of today's church members and superficial Christians have no real faith. They have faith in their faith and that's not necessarily "real faith." You cannot have real faith from a superficial understanding of the Atonement. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DIE the second death, but you do need to understand the fullness of the Atonement. Eph 2:8-10 For by [GODS] grace are ye saved [Past Tense] through faith; and that not of yourselves:[ It's ALL of CHRIST] it is the gift of God: ]WHO IS CHRIST] Not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are his [God the FATHER'S] workmanship, created in Christ Jesus [IN THE INCARNATION] unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

TAKE NOTE: Eph 2:8-10 For by grace are ye being saved. It says: Eph 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved (PAST TENSE) at the Cross IN CHRIST. This salvation ALREADY accomplished in CHRIST is only efficasious (for you) if YOU accept the free gift. The fact that it's a free gift prohibits anyone from claiming that their "works" plays any part in their salvation. Not of works, lest any man should boast. We were "created in Christ" IN His INCARNATION. we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which are CHRIST WORKS not yours or mine. God ordained that the works we should walk IN are the works accomplished by Jesus Christ. God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. When did God ordain them? Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE "IN CHRIST JESUS"

1Pe 1:20,21 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God

Friend, you were already "saved" IN CHRIST long before you were ever born, but after your birth, you learned somewhat of God, and you were moved to find a church in hope of being saved through decision, baptism, and obedience. BUT, that is only your part in accepting the free gift ALREADY obtained for you "before the foundation of the world." Before this world was ever created, YOU and ME were created in Jesus Christ. This is the "Good News" that should be taught as the gospel, and not as the gospel is being taught today. The Believe and Obey superficial gospel. Remember: That God calls those things that be NOT as though they already were. Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were

YOU ARE SAVED BY GOD "IN JESUS CHRIST" EVEN IF YOU REJECT IT, and it will be a strange work performed by God when He is left with no alternative but to DESTROY you when you REJECT IT. Isa 28:21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act. It's a strange work and act of God to ever destroy any part of His creation, but man is his "own god" and there is as the phrase spoken in movie HIGHLANDER  "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!" GOD!!!
