ONE OF THE NATIONS

ONE of the NATIONS

Most totally confused and biblically illiterate Protestant (mega preachers) is leading thousands into perdition including the U.S. President.

Robert Jeffress of Dallas First Baptist fame and a member of the President's (faith advisory board) is one of the nation's hughest phony and deceptive Protestant ministers known to humanity. His understanding of the scriptures is so warped and his practices of NLP (Nureal Linguistic Programming) on his church members will one day when he finds himself in the Lake of Fire that he will then see his error, but for him, it will be too late. Anyone who listens too and follows this man's preaching (it's certainly NOT any true Christian ministry) will be forever deceived in their understanding of scripture truth. I detest this little weasel of a preacher who has so deceived himself into thinking and believing he is a representative of Jesus Christ, that he falls into the category spoken of by Jesus when Jesus said in Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. He is one of the largest (last days) "man" of deception that Jesus spoke of.

His most deceptive latest "speech" as it's nowhere close to being a real sermon can be found and heard here, and I will point out his deception simply by using his "sin of omission" to the people as he attempts to speak on the day of worship. His fanatical approach to this can be found here: https://www.oneplace.com/ministries/pathway-to-victory/listen/squabbling-over-the-sabbath-809385.html?ref=nl&nlk=109753&utm_source=&utm_campaign=OnePlace%20Today&utm_medium=email&utm_content=3165663&bcid=b20aac9e541679e34569a668c2cf8087&recip=549091504%20 It's entitled "Squabbling Over the Sabbath" yet NOT once in his phony sermon did he ever tell the people that the keeping of the Sabbath was the "CUSTOM" of the Lord Himself." If you follow this man's ministry, you will follow him into perdition and final destruction in the Lake of Fire!

First, he begins with these verses: As his "proof text," that Sunday is the Lord's Day.

  • Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. (This verse says NOTHING about the Sabbath Day! It does say the "FIRST day of the week" which is the day that follows the Sabbath Day as God established it. Just because the verse states that "Paul was preaching" on the "first day of the week" does NOT mean that the first day of the week is the Sabbath Day. All of the four Apostles known as the gospel in the New Testament, ALL of them make it abundantly clear which day is the Sabbath Day of the Lord.

NOTICE: Matthews's account of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mat 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, [Sunday] came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. The Sabbath of God precedes the "first day of the week" which is Sunday.

Marks account:Mar 16:1,2 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. When the Seventh-day i.e. the Sabbath of the fourth commandment "passed" into the "first day" Sunday, the women came to the tomb of Jesus.

Lukes's account: Luk 24:1 Now upon the first day of the week, "Sunday" very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. [The Sabbath Day had passed into the "first day" of the new week, following the "weekly cycle" created by Jesus Himself in the beginning.]

John's account: Joh 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. [Jesus rose from the dead i.e. "resurrected" in the "dark period or first half of the "first day of the week known as the day that follows the Sabbath Seventh Day called "Sunday." The Jews reckoned the day from sunset to sunset, NOT as the modern world see's the day.]

However, the Lord Himself says through the apostle Luke: Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. It was and IS the custom of the Lord Himself to keep the day He Himself created as the Seventh Day Sabbath rest when He walked this physical Earth in His physical flesh. Not only did Jesus create the Seventh-day of "rest" called the Sabbath Day and the day He Himself kept as His "holy day" because it was His "Holy Day." When a person dies it is ofter said that "he/she" is or was "laid to rest" on such-a-such date. It is even inscribed in stone i.e. their headstones of grave markers so as to remember it. Jesus was "laid to rest" before His created day of rest called the Seventh Day i.e. the Sabbath began, and He Himself "rested" in death, just as do all who die go into their graves or in the tomb, thus NOT only as His custom was in life to keep the Sabbath Seventh Day, He Himself also "honored His day of rest in His death" He chose NOT to be resurrected on the Sabbath Day, but chose the resurrection to take place on the beginning of the week. WHY?

There is a reason! In Genesis 1:1 when the creation began "life" concerning planet Earth began, it was on a Sunday that the creation of God began. Gen 1:1-5 In the beginning God i.e. Jesus created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, [Had NO ability to support life] and void; [Had NO life what-so-ever] and darkness was upon the face of the deep. [The Earth had NO land it was completely covered in WATER alone, i.e. it was a planet waiting to be "born" as a "life-sustaining" world just as a child in the womb surrounded by water awaits its birth.] And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [GOD BEGAN] And God said, Let there be light: [LIGHT had to be FIRST as plants in which God would create needs the light to survive.] and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. [He set the newly created Earth into its orbital motion ability around the soon coming Sun in which He would create on the fourth day.] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. This is why the Hebrews mark their day from sunset to sunset, because that is also how God marks the day concerning time.

On the first day of creation, God did to the Earth what He does for the newborn child who after birth see's "light" for the first time as life begins for them. The Earth had been "born" by and at the word of God on Sunday the first day when life began. Just as Sunday the day of resurrection began a New Glorified Life in Jesus Christ when He once again, now in a glorified physical body "saw that same light" that He created so long ago in the beginning. Jesus came back to life on the first day of the week, but this did NOT nor will it ever change His created order of the weekly cycle. We have two very important scripture texts that verify this truth.

1. Isa 58:13,14 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

2. Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon [A thirty-day cycle] to another, and from one sabbath to another, [A weekly seven-day cycle] shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. The Seventh Day Sabbath will be the "worship day" in heaven for all the redeemed of Earth. Why, I ask you does the so-called Christian church then "keep a different day?" Why no better yet HOW can they call themselves servants of Jesus Christ and still live in disobedience to His written word?

Acts 20:7 Summary: In NO WAY does the verse speak of the Sabbath but is clearly speaking of the "first day" of the week which is Sunday. The word Sunday is NOT found in scripture anywhere, but the word "sabbath" (lowercase (s) IS found some 137 times. Why do you think this is? To assume that the preaching of Paul on a Sunday makes the day God's holy day, is to presume upon God Himself.

Then this weasel wanna-be preacher "Robert Jeffress" gives the next three verses.

  • 1Co 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. This verse would actually if taken literally be breaking God's on word concerning the true Seventh-Day Sabbath. It would allow for those "First Day keepers i.e. Sunday worshipers to break their own false day of worship by their "laying up and gathering!" to whom Paul was speaking to "work" in order to "lay by him in store" because of the word "gatherings". What did God do to the man who gathered "sticks" on the Sabbath Seventh Day?

Num 15:32-36 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, [They placed him in confinement i.e. we call it JAIL] because it was not declared [They had no direction's from God concerning this specific trespass] what should be done to him. And the LORD [GOD] said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. It was the death penalty for breaking the Sabbath of the Lord when a person had clear instruction and still rebelled against that instruction. MANY Sunday keepers will DIE while they yet live spiritually, and will eventually because of their open rebellion against God's word "die eternally" in the Lake of Fire.  Paul would never tell any Christian to go against the written word of God. The verse as used here as some proof text that God through Paul would tell the believers in Corinth to trespass His own command concerning the Sabbath Seventh-Day is ludicrous and clearly speaks of the "first day" NOT the Sabbath Day of God wich many break every Deis Solis.

1Co 16:2 Summary

This verse has absolutely nothing to do with the Sabbath but has everything to do with the "first day" of the week and even states so which is Sunday. Sunday is NOT the Sabbath of the Lord. SATURDAY the seventh day of the week is the true Sabbath of God.

Then (he) as do many others in order to justify their disobedience to God uses Col 2:16,17 the following verses which says nothing absolutely what-so-ever concerning the Seventh Day Sabbath, but speaks of many other "holy days" called "sabbath days" orf "high holy days" kept by the Jews. Those high holy or "sabbath days" were called "sabbath days" to indicate their "holiness dedication" to the Hebrew religion, but were NOT actual Seventh Day Sabbaths, but some of them may fall on the true Sabbath day, such as the Passover Seventh Day Sabbath, one of those "sabbath days" but falls on the actual Seventh Day Sabbath. The phrase used by Paul we would call today a "generic statement" indicating NO specific "sabbath day" but that of "sabbath days" plural.

  • Col 2:16,17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, [FOOD] or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, [one of those "sabbath days" other than the true Sabbath Day of God] or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [SPECIFIC ARTICLE HERE indicating THE SABBATH DAY] days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. The verses above specifically verse 16 contain and "added word" not in the original text. I will place it below without the added "cursive word".

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath. In the Hebrew mindset who would read this verse, they would clearly understand it, but for the western mind who reads it, they read into it what it doesn't say. There are TWO very important words in this verse that reveal what the verse is speaking of. They are the words "holyday" and the word "sabbath" two very different issues within the verse. The first issue we will look at is the word "holyday". For the Hebrew they had many "holydays" other than the specific Sabbath Holy day. They were mingled in with their ceremonial observances and some of them "holy days" would at certain times "fall on the true holy Seventh Day Sabbath, such as the Passover observance.

As Paul used the word here of "holyday" He was NOT speaking of the Sabbath Seventh Day "holyday" He was speaking of the other "high holy days" that the Jews observed, some of which were those days during the festival of "Booths" called the Feast of Tabernacles by the Jews. The Hebrew would readily see and separate what Pauls spoke as two very different issues. That of not being judged on their "holyday"s and that of their "Sabbath" day. The Western mindset however is incapable of seeing the differences that the Hebrew would readily see in these verses.

I get SICK to my stomach hearing this man's false preaching. He and ALL the other Evangelicals who surround the president of the United States is the reason the president acts the way he does. It's the BLIND leading the BLIND! Not to mention that he 'pats himself" on the back in most of all his online sermons when he speaks of his books.
