WHEN DID THE LAW OF GOD BEGIN?

When Did the Law of God Begin?

Answer: It didn't begin because it has always been and will always be. It's the "law of Jesus Christ" who wrote it with His own finger. And since Jesus is the eternal God, the law He revealed to humanity on Mt. Horeb a.k.a. Sinai is an eternal law never to be abrogated. It's the law that governs heavens inhabitants of God. Paul understood this when he used the phrase below "under the law to Christ." Just because Jesus came as God in the flesh did NOT change the law of God one iota.

1Co 9:21 To them that are without (outside of the) law, as (Those lawless those) without (the) law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without (Outside of the) law.

Why does God require obedience to His law, His Ten Commandments? The first three of those commandments pertain to God Himself and the importance of recognizing God as sovereign Creator of all things. The first commandment calls for the specific personal recognition of God the Creator. Exo 20:2,3 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. The phrase God used here of "out of the land of Egypt" is a type of the antitype of a lost world of sin. Jesus came to bring us out of this condition which kept us under the bondage of eternal death. Thus the phrase "out of the house of bondage." Sinkeeps its "victim" under the bondage of eternal death, but before that is reached, we die physically and spiritually because of sin, the sin which began in Eden with Adam and Eve's disobedience to God. Which fulfills God's word to Adam. Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

The second commandment of God: Exo 20:4-6 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. This commandment the second right out of the shute tells us that the commandments are mandatory if we love God. No true Christian negates or sets aside the commandments of God if they love God. Yet today's ministers and preachers teach and preach a "cheap grace" obedience. Just because God's grace was extended towards us, doesn't negate the commandments of God. To base one's relationship with God, solely upon His grace without His commandments is to have a half love for God and is the incomplete obedience and love for God. And because God Himself tells you that He is a "jealous God" He will not tolerate a half love for Him. 1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

The Third commandment: Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. The phrase "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain" simply means that you're not to claim God as your God if you don't obey Him as God, and God says that is a vain, a useless, an unacceptable obedience before Him, and He will not hold you or see you as guiltless. In other words, your guilty of disobedience to God.

These three commandments area summary of what God requires from His created beings, be they angels in heaven of man upon the Earth. Angels in heaven cannot be angels and disregard any one of these three commandments. They must have only God as their God and the disregard of God is what got Lucifer banished from God's presence. So for mankind to say the Law of God is a Jewish law, or that they are no longer necessary just because Jesus came as the Savior of the World is to discredit God's Law and to disobey God. One cannot love God sufficiently and disregard His law which is why God stated in the second commandment that He would show mercy towards the one who loved Him and jept those commandments "shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments." QUESTION: How did God "shew mercy" towards those who are to love Him? He came Himself as the Savior of the World and died on a cross for us the death we deserved and took our sin upon Himself.

The last seven of these commandments applies to the fallen human condition. Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath and that He Himself is Lord of the same Sabbath. Mar 2:27.28 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. This means that the Sabbath Seventh Day can never be changed from what God created it to be. A day of communion with Himself. Why then do YOU as a claimed followerer of Jesus the Lord keep a different day for worship other than the Sabbath Seventh-Day made at creation for man shortly after man was created? There's no such thing as any Jewish Sabbath, it's a God ordained seventh day made to worship together with God Himself.

The world has been deceived by the great deceiver in substituting a different day and all the world accepts the false worship day. God has nor will He ever change the day of worship that He made at the end of creation week. It remained from creation week until He "wrote it in stone" and gave it to man some 2000 years after the fact. This is why God begin the fourth commandment with the word "Remember" we are NOT to forget the seventh-day God made for man at the end of creation week. Exo 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Does it make a difference in which day we choose to worship God as long as we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth? YES! Absolutely because to do otherwise is to be disobedient to God's Command. Within this single command alone is identified the Creator of Heaven and Earth and draws the attention to the Creator of mankind i.e. it draws the attention toward God which is the mindset of all who worship Him in truth. You cannot truly worship God as God Himself requires of you on any other day of the week. The Seventh day Sabbath is so important to God that He states in Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words.

Here we discover that God calls the Sabbath day His "holy day" it is specifically His but was given "made for" man as a gift to commune with Himself after it was made. Did it exist in heaven before it was made? NO! Will it exist in heaven after it was made for those made in God's own image? YES! For all eternity. Will you be surprised then if you make it to heaven when Jesus tells you on that you will meet with Him on the Sabbath to worship with Him by the River of Life, under the Tree of Life? Will there be then "time" as we know it divided into 24 hour days? Twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness as we experience here? NO! There will be days, weeks, and months in heaven, but no need for night time rest as we have it here. The days will be shrouded in the radiance of the Glory of God, with no need to rest during a dark night as we have it here. Isaiah 66:22,23 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, (For all Eternity) saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. (Your seed is the root and offspring of David it is Jesus Christ who is indeed forever. Your name will be the new name God gives to you. Rev 2:17(c) and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. ) And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, (The monthly cycle of the moon) and from one sabbath to another, (The Weekly Cycle) shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Therefore, the Sabbath that was made on the seventh day of creation week will not be governed by time in heaven as we know time today. It will simply be called the Lord's Holy Worship Service, and when we are called to worship we respond from love for the Lord.

Eternity, has no stipulated set time and since there will be no darkness there, eternity is not governed by time as we know it today. And since each day in heaven will be a worship day out of love for Jesus, because of His great mercy certain aspects of the now current worship practices will be carried over into the Earth made new. It is then that the next verse applies.

Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. What was the "the heritage of Jacob" what did Jacob i.e. Israel inherit? The Earthly "Promised Land" but in this case it will be the Heavenly Land of Promise through Jesus Christ our Lord if we love Him and keep His Commadnments. The Holy Spirit said through John: 1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Jesus said: Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Cheap Grace the grace that says that God no longer requires the keeping of the commandments is a form of grace that is not of God but is of the "god of this world" taught by ignorant men/women who don't know any better but should know better if they claim to represent Jesus Christ. Just because Ephesians 2:8 states that we are saved by grace doesn't negate God's requirements for obedience. Can a man keep the law of God? YES! Most definitely in Jesus Christ do we keep it, but that doesn't mean we are to neglect striving to keep what we can keep. Question:

1. Do you honor your father and mother? Number 5

2. Do you commit murder? Number 6

3. Do you commit Adultery? Number 7

4. Do you Steal in any way? Number 8

5. Do you Lie on your neighbor or bear a false witness when you know that what you say cannot be proven? Number 9

6. Do you Covet anything? From riches, to that favorite gun, or that favorite tool or piece of furniture? Number 10

Do you as a self proclaimed Christian have only God as your God? Number 1

Do you have a tendency to worship anything other than God like your form of worship when you know it's NOT a form of worship God would condone for you? Then that form of worship becomes an "idol" for you, a "graven image" in your mind and practice that is not biblical and you break Number 2.

Does your form of worship place you in the area of being "vain" because you cannot accept anything other than what you have always believed to be right from childhood? Do you then take the title of Christian in vain when you disobey God's direct command to have Him as your God and what He has spoken and you accept Tradition above Truth? Number 3

Friend if we don't get it right in the here and now, we aren't going to be with Him in the future and eternity. Will God overlook and wilfull sin in your life when you should know better and He has given you His eternal word called the Holy Bible as a guide to follow? God's GRACE didn't just appear on the scene when Jesus came as the Savior of the World. It has existed from eternity past, and exist in eternity present, and will continue in eternity future. It was because of God's GRACE towards the fallen Lucifer turned Satan, that allowed him to be in the tree as a serpent who confronted Eve. God's GRACE is as much God as He Himself IS. It was God's GRACE that made peace between Himself and Humanity long before humanity was. Zec 6:12,13 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

It was because of God's GRACE that the "Councel of Peace" took place when Michael was presented with the plan of salvation, and He voluntarirly, willfully accepted the plan thus making peace between a fallen race which was yet future between man and God when the time came. This is why Jesus told Adam and Eve "Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The VICTOR was already on the Earth at the time and "made the promise" to Adam and Eve to come as the "enmity" between fallen mankind and satan. Jesus never told them when that time would come, but only that it would come, and come it did and Michael took the name assigned to Him in the council of peace which means SAVIOR i.e. Jesus. This is why Gabriel told Mary "Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

This name JESUS had already been determined in heavens council long before creation week ever began "In the Beginning." It was determined during the council that Jesus would build the church and that He would receive all the glory for doing the same. Michael as JESUS "he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory for doing so. After which when He accomplished His mission to Earth, He would ascend back to heaven and assume His rightful place upon His own Throne. "He shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne." This is why Jesus is called our "Great High Priest!" The Law of God because God is "eternal" has always been an eternal law consisting of the first three of those commandments. The last seven were given to fallen man to control their conduct on the Earth.

Any preacher/minister who tells you that they are no longer required by God or to be practiced by the Christian doesn't know the word of God, nor do they themselves know God. These are the ones in whom Satan transformes Himself into an angel of light. They do not know that they are being used by the master manipulator and actually believe they are servants of Jesus Christ while they preach lies to YOU. It is these kinds of men that Jesus warned us about here: Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. If you follow these fake Christians both you and them will shake hands in the Lake of Fire. They know it as well!
